Pernicious insects, mites fauna in Croatian orhards. Entomologia Croatica, 4: 63-69.

Abstract
The paper reviews the results of surveys carried out in 1995-97 at continental Croatian apple, pear, peach orchards in Istria and Dalmatia, for the presence of pernicious species. Species of the following orders were observed: Homoptera, Heteroptera, Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera and mites (Acari) of Tetranychidae and Eriophyidae families. Species regularly appearing in orchards and species that were previously undetected in Croatian orchards are described. New species in orchards were: Phylloxera pyri, Coleophora coracipennella, Coleophora anatipennella, Cnephasia longana, Agrotis segetum, Smerinthus ocellatus, Allacantus cinctus [Allantus cinctus], Priophorus morio, Nematus leucotrochus, Nematus ribesii, Eotetranychus carpini, Panonychus citri and Aculus schlechtendali
