Abstract

A list of oppiid species collected from the Bonin Islands in North Pacific Ocean is given. The new species included are Multioppia (Multioppia) bacilliseta, Arcoppia interrupta, Arcoppia curtispinosa, Ramusella (Insculptoppia) bicillata, Ramusella (Insculptoppia) flagellaris, Subiasella (Lalmoppia) boninensis and Graptoppia (Stenoppia) crista. Two new combinations are formed: Pseudoamerioppia floralis (Ohkubo, 1990) and Subiasella (Lalmoppia) incurva (Aoki, 1983). Some morphological terms are defined for the description of oppiid mites.
