Abstract

The new species described and figured are: Fam. Erythraeidae: Erythraeus munsteri, Balaustium bipilum, B . vignae, B. medicagoense, B. cristatum, B. graminum, Leptus intermedius. Smaridiidae: Smaris biscutatis, Fessonia brevicristata. Keys to the genera and species of Erythraeidae and Smaridiidae associated with South African plants are given.
