Abstract

Nycteriglyphus bifolium a new species of gfycyphagid mite from a cave inhabited by large numbers of free-tailed bats, T.adarida braziliensis; is described. It is characterized by a pair of exceedingly large, foliacous, gnathosomal setae. The larva, protonymph, deutonymph (tritonymph of authors), male, and female are described. There was no hypopus.
