Abstract
Notes on the family Paratydeidae are given together with the descriptions of two new genera, viz. Sacotydeus gen. nov. and Tanytydeus gen. nov. Bath genera are based on one species each viz. S. lootsi spec. nov. and T. cristatits spec. nov., the descriptions of which are given. Additional data on Scolotydaeus bacillus Berlese are fumished.
