Abstract

Interet ecologique de la relation entre la temperature et la duree de developpement des oribates. - The author analyses temperature influences upon Oribatid mites emphasizing the ecological consequences of the Q10 high values (4,0) upon fecondity, life cycle and density variations. Consequently, study of population dynamic must be treated with an ecological time scale. A graphical model is proposed including the relation between temperature, length of development and the time. The ecological time scale is expressed in fractions of development during the time passed away two density estimations. This is done using mean temperature supported by Oribatids. An attempt is made for extrapolation to a natural population. The discussion is devoted to the criticism of the method and to the ecological significance of Q10 high value.
