Abstract

(In French) Observations sur les Spinturnicidae de la region palearctique occidentale (Acarina, Mesostigmata). Specificite, repartition et morphologie. - 1) Presentation of the occidental palearctic fauna observed, with notes on the parasitic specificities. Origin of the studied material. 2) List of the mentioned Spinturnicidae: - Eyndhovenia euryalis: new species for Algeria. - Paraperiglischrus rhinolophinus: new species for Spain. Discovery of this acarine in the stomach of Hipposideros gigas. - Spintiwnix emarginatus: new species for France. - Spintitrnix myoti: new species for Portugal, Spain and Tunisia. Remarks on the different development of this acarine according to the examined host. - Spintiwnix andegavinits n. sp.: description of the new species with morphological, ecological and biological arguments. - Spinturnix mystacinus: study of the peculiar form of the sternal scutum in this species. - Spinturnix plecotimts: study of the relief of sternal scutum. - Spinturnix psi: this species is a specific parasite of Miniopterits schreibersi but the cohabltation of the host with other bats a!lows to a dissemination of the acarine. Description of the intercoxal shield of the male.
