Abstract

Nymphs of the water mite Hydryphantes tenиabilis successfully metamorphosed after having fed оп only the eggs of the dragonfly Pachydiplax longipennis. Adult females reared оп the same food grew, mated, and laid viable eggs. Aquatic insect eggs mау Ье ап important food for а wide variety of water mites.
