Abstract

During work on system of Phthiracaroidea author used rules of three modern systematic schools (evolutionary, phenetic and cladistic systematics) and discussed results of each study. Two hundred species of Phthiracaroidea were analyzed concerning their morphological features and evolutionary tendencies. Using cladistic methods, Phthiracaroidea was divided into 2 families, 3 subfamilies, 5 tribes, 9 genera with 4 subgenera. Author gave diagnosis and key to ali supraspecific taxons as weil as discussed Il genera which were synonimized.
