Abstract
Both species Rhipicephalus muhsamae and Rhipicephalus senegalensis have been studied in relation with their population dynamic in the Central African Republic. Their optimal abundance present a pic in October and September, during the rainy season with a density of 2.9 and 0.7 specimen by kilometer square respectively. The two species are found usually in the same biotope.
