Notes: This genus and the single species is closely related to Eurytetranychus but differs in that the claw-like empodium is stout and about half as long as the tenent hairs of the true claws; tarsi I and II without duplex setae; prodorsum with 3 pairs of setae and opisthosoma with 10 pairs of setae (Meyer, 1987).
