Notes: The genus resembles Tenuipalpoides Reck & Bagdasarian in having 10 pairs of dorsal hysterosomals, and Eonychus Gutierrez in showing the normal type of duplex setae on tarsus II. However, it differs from bcth in having the peritreme ending in a simple bulb without anastomosis. and Abbatiello in the absence of split empodiai claws. Further, it differs from Crotonella Tuttle, Baker & Abbatiello in the absence of split empodial claws.

The genus Tenuipalponychus comprises 3 species.
