First full description of life stages of Tenuipalpoides zizyphus Reck & Bagdasarian (Acari: Tetranychidae), a type species of the genus. International Journal of Acarology, 46 (1): 14-21.

Abstract
The type species of the genus Tenuipalpoides, T. zizyphus Reck & Bagdasarian, 1948, is redescribed based on the female. This is the first full morphological description of all mobile life stages for a species in Tenuipalpoides. The specimens were collected from Astragalus huthianus (Fabaceae) from Iran, which also is a new host record for this mite species. Based upon reported hosts, it appears this species is only found on plants in Fabaceae.
