Abstract
Studies on the factors affecting the density of Tetranychus kanzawai (an important pest of tea, other crops in the Leguminosae [Fabaceae], Cucurbitaceae and Rosaceae in Japan) on grapes in greenhouses in Honshu, Japan, and the population dynamics of the mite and its predators, and its biological control by the predatory mite Phytoseiulus persimilis are reported.
