The species composition and distribution of phytophagous mites in the Lithuanian SSR. Nauchnye Trudy Litovskoi Sel'skokhozyaistvennoi Akademii, 14 (2): 61-69.

Abstract
Investigations in 1965 in the Lithuanian Republic (Soviet Union) on the fauna of phytophagous mites revealed the presence of 20 species. The most widespread were Panonychus (Metatetranychus) ulmi (Koch), Bryobia rubrioculus (Scheuten) (redi-korzevi Rekk), Cecidophyopsis (Eriophyes) ribis (Westw.) and Eriophyes pyri (Pgst). In 1965, P. ulmi damaged plum severely in northern Lithuania, whereas B. rubrioculus predominated in the south. C. ribis and E. pyri occurred in all regions. The mites are listed, with notes on their biology and ecology.
