Nuevo género y especie de Acaro (Acariforme : Tetranychidae) parasito de plantas. Poeyana (ser. A), 49: 1-5.

Abstract
A new genus and species of mite of the family Tetranychidae (Acarina) · is herein described from the Isle of Pines, Cuba, based primarily on the presence of one pair of setae on the anal plates, during all stages of its life cycle, instead of two pairs as is normal in the family. Larvae, nymphs and adult females were secured, but males are unknown, Holotype is deposited at the lnstitute of Biology of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba.
