Abstract
Eight new species of Tetranychidae occuring on malagasian wild plants are described and figured: Eonychus grewiae n. g., n. p. Eotetranychus grandis n. sp., Oligonychus andropogonearum n. sp., O. virens, n. sp., O. occidentalis n. sp., Tetranychus roseus n. sp., T. panici n. sp. and T. kaliphorae n. sp. A remark is done about genus Porcupinychus Anwarullah which preoccupies genus Trichonychus Gutierrez. The name of Porcupinychini is proposed for a new tribe of Bryobiinae.
