El complejo de acaros tetraniquidos, como plaga importante del cultivo de la Yuca. Revista de la Facultad de Agronomia, Universidad Central de Venezuela, 12: 249-254.

Abstract
A list is given, from the literature, of 27 species of tetranychids that have been recorded from cassava, together with the countries involved. Brief notes are given on the damage the mites cause to the buds, shoots, the effect of this damage on the yield, on varietal resistance and on the biology of Mononychellus tanajoa (Bondar), one of the most injurious species. Of 251 varieties tested, the Mexican varieties 20 and 71 and also variety 133, from Ecuador, were highly resistant, particularly to Mononychellus species, and 19 others displayed moderate resistance.
