Abstract
A summary is given of studies carried out in 1981-84 on the use of supervised, biological, integrated control measures against the main phytophagous mites (Tetranychus urticae, Aculops lycopersici and Polyphagotarsonemus latus) on protected vegetable crops and ornamental plants in the Ragusa area of Sicily, Italy. Growers are offered advice to rationalise their control programmes.
