Notes on the Italian Bryobiines. I (Acarina Tetranychidae). Frustula Entomologica, 7-8: 559-573.

Abstract
Attention is drawn to 2 species of Bryobia that are recorded for the first time in Italy: B. artemisiae, which was previously known only in the southern USSR, was collected in Cagliari (Sardinia) on Lavandula stoechas, and B. borealis, which was previously recorded in Alaska, Norway and the USSR and was collected in Italy on grasses (Poa alpina and Cyperaceae) and a thistle (Cirsium spinosissimum). After careful examination of the types of B. glacialis and B. alpina (also collected on P. alpina in Italy), the 2nd species is synonymized with the 1st. The 3 species of Bryobia are redescribed and a key for their identification is provided
