Abstract
The tetranychid fauna of Sicily, Italy, is described, most of the species are illustrated. Information is included on the following genera: Bryobia (11 species), Aplonobia (1 species), Tetranycopsis (1 species), Petrobia (2 species), Tetranychina (2 species), Panonychus (2 species), Eotetranychus (2 species), Tetranychus (2 species), Oligonychus (1 species) and a new genus. Five of the species are described as new. The description of each species is preceded by brief details of the systematics of the group and by a key for identification of the genus and species.
