Tetranycopsis horridus Can. et Fan. (Acarina, Tetranychidae) - a new mite species for the fauna of Poland occurring on hazel. Prace Naukowe Instytutu Ochrony Roslin Warszawa, 35: 40-42.

Abstract
Brief notes are given on the morphology of the females, on the biology of Tetranycopsis horridus, which was first observed in Poland in 1987, on hazel in the Wielkopolska region. It has subsequently spread to most of the country. It is most abundant in May and at the beginning of June, subsequently laying single eggs on the leaves. Of samples infested by tetranychids, 29.8% revealed this species
