New records of tetranychoid mites of ornamental, medicinal plants and their hosts from the Punjab state. Entomon, 6: 325-327.

Abstract
Fifteen species of tetranychid, tenuipalpid mites taken from new ornamental and medicinal food-plants in the Punjab, India, are listed together with the plants. Bakerina aculus Chaudhri from Thuja orientalis and Tenuipalpus pernicis Chaudhri, Akbar & Rasool from Calotropis procera were new records for India and Punjab, respectively. Brevipalpus rugulosus Chaudhri, Akbar & Rasool, B. karackiensis Chaudhri, Akbar & Rasool, T. punicae Pritchard & Baker and Schizotetranychus undulaticae Pritchard & Baker and Schizotetranychus undulatus (Beer & Lang) were found infesting medicinal and ornamental plants for the first time
