Levels of infestation by Tetranychus (T.) evansi Baker & Pritchard, 1960 in different phases of the growth of the tomato plant. Revista de Agricultura, 54: 51-56.

Abstract
The levels of infestation by Tetranychus evansi Baker & Pritchard on tomato plants were measured at different stages of the growth of the plants during studies in Pernambuco, Brazil, in 1977 on tomato plants transplanted at 30-day intervals between March, September. The mites on the leaves were sampled weekly. Infestation began when the plants were 40 days old (2 weeks after transplanting) and reached its peak when the plants were 88-117 days old. Mites were present on all parts of the plants but were most numerous on the lower portion.
