Abstract
Since the tetranychids native to south-east Asia, Japan are now found in many parts of the world (including the United States), and those from Thailand in particular cause serious damage, the author gives a list of 90 species, together with their food-plants, many of which are of economic importance, from Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, Burma, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Cambodia, Java and Indonesia, 64 of these mite species are marked as not yet known to be established in the United States, in order to facilitate identification for quarantine purposes in case of accidental introduction
