Abstract
The current pest situation on Florida avocado is reviewed. Status of research for pests such as, the Caribbean fruit fly, Anastrepha suspensa, the loopers. Epimeces detexta (Walker), E. matrona-ria (Guenée), Anacamptodes defectaria (Guenée), Oxydia vesulia transponens (Walker), the avocado lacebug, Pseudacysta perseae Heat., the avocado miner, Gracillia perseae, avocado lea-froller, Caloptilia sp., the mite Oligonychus yothersi (McGregor), the mirids Dagbertus fasciatus (Reuter), the mite Tegolophus perseaflorae Keiffer is discussed.
