AB  - Two new species of Macrocheles, M. falsiglaber n. sp. and M. craspedochetes n. sp. (Acarina: Mesostigmata: Macrochelidae) were collected in horse manure in South France. Females of these two new species are described and illustrated. The significance of morphological characters of glaber group is discussed.
