AB  - A la recherche d’un néotype valable pour Trombicula minor Berlese 1905, le représentant disparu de l’importante famille des Trombiculidae (Acarina). - After a brief review of the history of Trombicula minor Berlese 1905, and a survey of what has been done by various workers describing its biology, it is shown that the neotype presented by J . Cooreman in 1960 can not be accepted for many reasons of substance as well as of form. In conclusion, it is recommended that J. R. Auny publish as soon as it is possible for him to do so, his neotype which he already mentioned in one of his 1954 publications.
