An average of 7.5 days was required for the mango rust mite to complete its generation. Description of immature stages are presented. Field and laboratory observations showed that the mite is ovoviviparous. Mite population density increased in spring and early summer with two peaks in late April and in early June. The phytoseiid mite, Amb/yseius swirskii (Athias-Henriot) was considered effective in decreasing pest population. ER -
