Abstract

Zwei neue Arten der Gattung Pediculaster von australischen Dipteren (Acarina, Tarsonemida, Pygmephoridae). - Two new species of the family Pygmephoridae are described, Pediciûaster domrowi sp. n. and Pediculaster morelliae sp. n. The mites were attached at the halteres, thorax and abdomen of two different fiies of the family Muscidae, the buffalo fly, Haemotobia exigua de Meijere, 1903 and Morellia hortensia Wiedemann, 1824, both from the Northern Territory of Australia.
