А suitable rearing cage continues to Ье а serious problem in the study of phytophagous mites. Two types of rearing cages, viz. the glass cover cage and the polythene cover cage were developed, and the procedure for preparation is discussed. Тhе advantages, disadvantages and the scope of the two cages аге also discussed.
