Abstract

Etude morphologique et biologique de Rhipicephalus moucheti Morel, 1964, groupe de Rh. sanguineus (Acariens; Ixodoidea), espece africaine. - The discovery of a large number of males of Rh. moucheti and the determination of the female have permitted the realisation of the life cycle in laboratory conditions and the morphological study of the intermediate stages. The morphological comparison of Rh. moucheti intermediate stages with the other species of sanguineus group confirms the attributed taxonomic status of the species and make the differential identification easy. The author gives some biological informations and illustrations of all the stages.
