Two Astigmata Acaroidea species are for the first time recorded from Senegal in transformed fishes called Keccax. Their morphology is studied by SEM. These species are: Lardoglyphus konoi (Sasa and Asanuma, 1951) Hughes, 1961 (Lardoglyphidae) and Suidasia pontifica Oudemans, 1905, synonym S. medanensis Oudemans, 1924 (Acaridae), (FAIN and PHILIPS, 1978).
